How it works

1. You fill out the signup form with your details, your note, and an optional, separate SMS opt-in if you want text updates.
2. K-Hub stores the request in SQLite with audit details, including timestamps, IP, user agent, and follow-up events.
3. An administrator gets an email with the request details and a signed admin review link.
4. The request stays in pending_admin_review until it is approved or denied.
5. If approved without SMS, it can move to active for email and web/app follow-up where available.
6. If approved with optional SMS opt-in, it moves to approved_pending_sms_confirmation until the later SMS confirmation step is available.

No public list, no instant activation, no growth-hack theatre. Just a deliberate queue and a human decision.
